Dr. Hasick graduated from
Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in March 1980 and has been in
private practice in Calgary since June 1980. Dr. Hasick became a board-certified
instructor for the National Upper Cervical
Chiropractic Association in 1989 and
continues to teach on a regular basis. He was Chief Chiropractic Officer for the
1988 Olympic Winter Games in Calgary and team Chiropractor for Team Canada Men's
National Volleyball Team. In 1991 he was awarded a Fellowship by Palmer College
of Chiropractic inducting him into the Palmer Academy of Chiropractic.
"As
a chiropractor, it is my daily clinical experience to be educating my clients,
not only about their physical health from a chiropractic view, but from a holistic
perspective as well. I turned to the creative medium to express this information
on a broader scale and to a larger audience. The benefits of self healing and
maintaining hope through the ongoing process of self discovery and self-healing
is very important to maintaining a good quality of life. For me it is an ongoing
search on how one can maintain a healthy balance in life, while contributing and
participating as an individual in this magical world. The possibilities are endless!"
In 1993, Dr. Hasick created the company C-1 Film® Productions Corp. to
produce and promote educational programs for television. "There is a real need
for educational films that are dedicated to helping people help themselves. These
programs needed a realistic and practical perspective". The subject matter created
for these films and products is from the "lived experience." "This personal "reality"
and authentic content is what is helpful for other people to learn. We can often
relate to someone that has gone through similar struggles, or simply has similar
questions. We find this can reduce some of the anxieties and stresses of daily
living."
The human journey with its everyday struggles and challenges of
life are generally felt by all of us at some time in our lives. It is a time for
conscious awareness and a shift to a healthier way of being human. These programs
produced by C-1 Film®, maintain hope and offer simple, practical solutions and
exercises to help stay healthy along the journey of life.
